Mitie a Top Employer for Workers With Disabilities
December 22, 2017Mitie was included in Vercida’s 2017 top 10 list of employers who hire people with disabilities.
Vercida stands for values, equality, respect, culture, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility. Every year it recognizes the top 10 organizations that are leaders in offering opportunities for workers with disabilities. This year it listed Mitie fourth.
As part of its diversity and inclusion efforts, Mitie set up an “Enable” network to increase the awareness and understanding of people with disabilities in the workplace. The network provides training, advice, and support to employees and managers.
