Mitie Awarded Contract With British Food Wholesaler

Mitie Group Plc has secured a contract with food wholesaler Bidfood.
The five-year deal calls for Mitie to provide waste management and recycling services to 37 Bidfood distribution centers throughout the United Kingdom. In addition, Mitie will use Bidfood’s Manchester, England, facility as an innovation hub to develop new waste management technologies and recycling initiatives. Financial details of the contract were not announced.
