Mitie Wins Environmental Awards

Mitie Group Plc’s waste management division has won five Green Apple Environment Awards for environmental best practices. Mitie received one gold, two silver, and two bronze awards during a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament in London, England.

The Green Apple Awards were established in 1994 to recognize environmental endeavors among companies in England. “Recycling and sustainability are all about common sense, not rocket science,” said Michael Taylor, managing director of Mitie Waste Management. “Simply by helping our clients educate their end users, we can all contribute to a greener planet.”
