Norovirus Outbreak Strikes San Francisco School

Public health officials have confirmed more than 50 cases of norovirus at McKinley Elementary School in San Francisco, CA.

According to the San Francisco Unified School District, 53 students and four staff members have succumbed to the virus in the last week. School officials are working with the San Francisco Public Health Department to enact enhanced cleaning protocols in an attempt to halt the spread of the outbreak, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
