Retail Food Safety Expert Joins Diversey

Dr. Clyde “Chip” Manuel has joined Diversey as the retail food safety lead for North America.

In his new role, Manuel will represent Diversey at industry conferences, serve as a technical expert to improve customer food safety practices, and act as a liaison between Diversey and its customers. 

Manuel’s research, which has focused on foodborne pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes and Norovirus, has been published in numerous peer-reviewed academic journals. He has also been honored with various awards for distinction by global organizations such as the International Association for Food Protection, the Institute for Food Technologists, and AOAC International.
