Suspected Norovirus Outbreak Hits Virginia Chipotle

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. temporarily closed its Sterling, VA, restaurant earlier this week due to a potential norovirus outbreak.

Chipotle ordered the shutdown of the restaurant after more than a dozen customers reported symptoms of the gastrointestinal illness last week, including two cases requiring hospitalization. Restaurant employees performed a thorough sanitization of the location and it reopened for business on Tuesday, Business Insider reports.
