Ecolab Inc. has announced plans to invest US$9 million in the company’s Huntington, Indiana, operations.

The investment will be used to install new equipment at Ecolab’s 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Additionally, the company will increase warehouse space at its nearby 132,000-square-foot distribution center. Both projects are slated to be complete by the end of the year and will allow Ecolab to add up to 24 new employees, WANE-TV reports.

“Our team has been running our operations at full capacity to meet the increased need for our hygiene solutions, and this expansion will help ensure our ability to meet current and future demand,” said Kevin Wiig, manager of Ecolab’s Huntington plant.
