Sodexo Launches Women Empowerment Grant Program
Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation has announced two recipients of its inaugural women empowerment grant program.
Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF) in New York and Together We Bake (TWB) in Alexandria, Virginia will each receive a grant of US$50,000 annually for three years to support training and personal development programs for underserved women. Sodexo’s foundation will also provide the organizations with volunteers, mentors, and event support.
“It’s important that we recognize the importance of investing in at-risk young women to prepare them for success and growth in the greater society,” said Joan Rector McGlockton, Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation chair.
