Straight Talk! With the 2021 Custodian of the Year
Earlier this month, Mike Heiry was named Cintas Corp.’s 2021 Cintas Custodian of the Year®.
The head custodian at North Allegheny Intermediate High School in Pittsburgh, Heiry earned 20% of the contest’s total votes cast for the 10 national finalists. Students and staff alike agreed that Heiry is part of the glue that holds everything together and ensures the high school’s cleanliness every day. He recently sat down for an interview with Straight Talk! in which he discusses his joy in winning the award. Heiry also adds some insight on the value of custodians, especially in educational facilities.
