Compass Group has appointed Carol Sommerville chief people officer (CPO) for the company’s UK & Ireland division.

Sommerville joins Compass from luxury pre-owned watch specialty business Watchfinder & Co., where she served as global human resources (HR) director, Facilities Management Journal reports. Prior to Watchfinder, Sommerville held senior HR positions at Net-a-Porter and BT Group plc.
