Spartan Chemical Company, Inc., a recognized leader in the formulation and manufacture of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, today announced the promotion of Andy Scherting to the role of regional manager, effective, October 1, 2025.

Mr. Scherting joins Spartan in the Toledo, Ohio region. For the past three and a half years, Andy held the role of United States commercial director of sales and brokerage for Select Dedicated Solutions where he was responsible for overseeing growth of the United States’ sales team, the diversification of commercial freight clients and the integration of US and Mexico operations to grow and expand both the asset and brokerage divisions of the cross border logistics business. Prior to that, Scherting held the role of vice president for seven years at Go Logistics in Millbury, Ohio where he was responsible for overseeing the brokerage groups domestic and international sales growth. Andy also spent five years at Keller Logistics, holding various titles such as warehouse manager, fleet manager, and logistics manager.

Andy attended the University of Toledo, in Toledo, Ohio where he received his bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.
