ISSA Show North America 2023, the annual tradeshow that brings together leaders from the commercial, institutional, and residential cleaning communities, will take place November 13–16 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

In this video, Nancy Viazzi, ISSA’s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Account Executive, discusses a live training event—the ISSA CIMS Expert Workshop—being offered by CIMS at this year’s ISSA Show.

This workshop is ideal for facility service individuals within an organization in the industrial, commercial, and public venue sectors of the cleaning industry. Those who successfully attend the one-day course on Monday, November 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., will become CIMS Certification Experts (CCE).

Topics covered include:

• Principles of effective cleaning management
• Elements of a comprehensive green cleaning program
• Complying with the CIMS and CIMS-GB requirements
• Assisting customers in obtaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification
• Updated CIMS Standard.

The fee for the workshop is US$999 for ISSA members, $1,595 for non-members.
