ISSA Hygieia Network, an ISSA Charities™ signature program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning industry, is s in full event mode in the second half of 2023.
Coming up at ISSA Show North America 2023 is the ISSA Hygieia Network Annual Award Reception, and this year it is like no other with an expanded awards ceremony and special recognitions. The highly anticipated event takes place Wednesday, November 15, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
In this episode of Straight Talk!, ISSA Media Director Jeff Cross delves into the status of women in the cleaning industry in 2023 as he chats with Andrea Berns, JLL Technologies head of operations, and Emily Sandler, Georgia-Pacific LLC market sales director for the Pacific Coast. The two executives share why they chose to be involved with the Hygieia Network, discuss how the industry fosters a sense of community, and detail some recent examples of how they’ve enabled the mission of the Hygeia Network.
