2020 has been a tumultuous year of change. We’ve experienced disruption in our personal and professional lives. We’ve seen states close and reopen. We’ve experienced firsthand or witnessed others deal with pain and loss. We’ve had to make tough changes. We’ve had to be nimble, flexible and adaptable. As we look ahead to the rest of 2020, we’re unsure of what lies ahead of us. But our industry has pushed forward. We are on the front lines. We are responsible for helping safely reopen our buildings: The places where we work, play, learn, and gather. The need for cleaning, sanitation, disinfection and infectious disease transmission prevention is greater than ever. We are essential. We are critical. The world will never look at cleaning the way we did before 2020. We are undoubtedly elevating and changing the way the world views cleaning—together.

In times of change, we can sit back and wait, or we can take action. We had been eagerly anticipating our return to Chicago. 2016 was the last year Chicago was our host city. We worked diligently with the city and the venue and they worked diligently on our behalf to secure the proper permission and approved safety plans that would allow us to host the show in October. By mid-June it was evident we were running out of time—we had to pivot or risk not having a show at all. Before we made any decisions, we engaged our loyal attendee base in an extensive survey. The survey results were clear. The majority of our audience wanted to gather, safely, in person this year, regardless of the alternate dates and location. We then made the tough decision to relocate to the event to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, in Las Vegas, NV, November 16-19.

Las Vegas—a familiar home to ISSA Show North America—has been hyperfocused a progressive reopening and safety plan around their main industry: Gaming, hospitality, and tradeshows. It has been our main priority to bring you to a city that is ready to embrace and receive your attendance while simultaneously following strict health and safety protocols. The self-contained venue will allow our audience to eat, sleep, entertain, network and attend the event, all without having to leave the facility. The space is expansive and allows us to properly spread out, distance and retain most of the elements that makes ISSA Show North America special.

COVID-19 has wreaked havoc across the globe—and, as a result—has changed how businesses operate. The show’s power-packed lineup of the industry’s top products and services alongside an unmatched conference program will arm you with the necessary knowledge and skills needed as we see the world gradually reopen and implement various health and safety plans to keep us safe.

Our industry will persevere through this pandemic and we welcome you to join us as we remain a key component to reopening and rebuilding the economy. We look forward to strengthening our global initiative of driving the future of cleaning across the industry, and more importantly—the world.

Health & Safety

Your Safety is Our Priority
ISSA Show North America will be held in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standards. This November, you can expect to see that health and safety is our priority and that a range of measures are in place to ensure everyone is able to enjoy a safe, hygienic, productive and high-quality organized event experience.

We would not be moving forward with the live event if we didn’t feel that all our partners, our ISSA Show North America team and the city of Nevada were not actively planning for a safe experience for all our customers come late November.

We will publicly share our fully transparent AllSecure Plan, once it has been vetted and approved by local health officials.
