As Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, celebrates its 150th anniversary this year and ISSA marks its 100th year in 2023, ISSA Show North America 2022 provided the perfect arena for these two cleaning industry stalwarts to reflect on the past while gazing towards the future.

In this edition of Straight Talk!, ISSA Media Director Jeff Cross chats with Andy Clement, Chief Customer Officer at Kimberly-Clark Professional. Clement discusses how his role at KCP is vital in keeping the customer experience front and center in the company’s C-Suite. He also walks Cross through the history of his company of how it came from a small paper mill to one of the world’s largest providers of tissue, paper towels, and other paper products, servicing both the consumer and commercial marketplaces. Cross also touches the changes he’s seen in the overall industry and how his company’s innovations and initiatives have propelled cleaning into the future.

As an ISSA member for more than 35 years, KCP has been a prominent partner with the worldwide cleaning association. Clement recaps his company’s commitment to such ISSA divisions as the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) infectious disease training and ISSA Hygieia Network, an ISSA Charities™ signature program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning industry
