Straight Talk: Laura Craven on Imperial Dade & ISSA

Laura Craven is the vice president of marketing and communications with Imperial Dade, a seemingly always expanding distributor of paper, packaging, and janitorial products.

But Craven is more than just the vice president for a key player in the cleaning industry. She also serves as the Distributor Director on ISSA’s 2023 Board of Directors, giving a voice to a crucial segment of the supply chain.

In this episode of Straight Talk!, ISSA Media Director Jeff Cross sits down with Craven to discuss her extensive career in the industry. As a 25-year veteran, she’s seen a lot of changes, but one constant has been the support of ISSA. The two discuss the how ISSA has championed the industry through the years and helped Imperial Dade to thrive through the association’s education, charities, and advocacy efforts.

The two also chat about ISSA’s new Rethink Clean campaign and the association’s upcoming 100th anniversary in 2023. Cross and Craven agree that right now the cleaning industry is in the spotlight, making it a wonderful time to both build on the past and look towards the future by rising to the occasion and meeting the evolving needs of public health and safety.
