The board of directors for the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) elected its new officers and directors at a recent meeting.

Suzanne Carroll, Nouryon senior vice president of home and personal care, was elected vice chair of the ACI board, and Sean Moriarty, Stepan Co. vice president and general manager of surfacants, was named treasurer.

New ACI board members include:

• Rene Garza, Novonesis senior vice president of planetary health biosolutions
• Christian MacIver, Pilot Chemical Co. president and chief operating officer
• Easwar Ranganathan, Shell Chemicals LP general manager of marketing
• Martina Spinatsch, Henkel Consumer Brands North America senior vice president of research and development
• Charlie Zimmer, Dow Inc. senior global business director of industrial solutions.

Garza also joins Moriarty on the ACI board executive committee, along with Erik Roberts, Procter & Gamble (P&G) senior vice president of global fabric and home care purchasing.
