Clorox Helps Students and Teachers Get Back to School

The Clorox Co., parent company of CloroxPro™, recently donated US$1 million to national nonprofit DonorsChoose.

The donation will be distributed by DonorsChoose to teachers nationwide to help them purchase cleaning supplies and other back-to-school products for their classrooms.

“At Clorox, we value the extraordinary effort and sacrifices teachers nationwide have made to navigate this challenging past school year which is why we look to celebrate and give back to superhero teachers again this year,” said Tad Kittredge, Clorox vice president of cleaning “Through our $1 million donation to DonorsChoose, we are committed to supporting teachers so they can return to the classroom equipped with necessary supplies for a successful and safe year ahead.”

In addition to supporting DonorsChoose, Clorox also partnered with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks to donate $100,000 along with $10,000 worth of Clorox® disinfecting wipes to Atlanta Public Schools. The company’s largest production facility is based in Atlanta.
