Dow Increases 4th-Quarter Sales 5%
Dow Chemical Co. has reported fourth-quarter net sales of US$10.7 billion, an increase of 5% year over year.
Dow credited the gains to increased local prices, currency, and volume. Sales in the company’s packaging and specialty plastics segment rose 6% to $5.1 billion, while its industrial intermediates and infrastructure segment increased sales 8% to $3.5 billion.
