Essity has appointed Jessica Alm chief communication officer.

Alm joins Essity from multinational engineering firm Sandvik AB, where she has served in various roles over the past 17 years, the past ten as head of group communications. She succeeds Joséphine Edwall Björklund, who after a decade as Essity’s chief communication officer has taken on the new role as senior advisor. Alm is slated to assume her new position at Essity no later than August 2023 and will report directly to Magnus Groth, Essity president and CEO.
