ISSA-The Association for Cleaning & Facility Solutions is pleased to announce that its 2026 State Pesticide Registration Survey [link to survey] is now available to ISSA members. This valuable resource provides essential information on pesticide registration requirements for each U.S. state, as well as for Washington, DC; Puerto Rico; the Virgin Islands; and Guam.

Pesticide registration is a critical component of the cleaning and facility solutions industry, as many cleaning products fall under this regulatory category. Understanding the specific requirements of each state is essential for ensuring compliance and avoiding costly penalties. The ISSA State Pesticide Registration Survey offers comprehensive data on fees, renewal deadlines, penalties, and contact information for state regulatory agencies.

Since our 2025 update, the pesticide registration fees for Illinois, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Oregon have all increased and we anticipate the fee increasing soon for Delaware. Registration authority references also have been updated throughout the 2026 survey.
