Ending Period Poverty Advisory Council

The ISSA Period Poverty Advisory Council will play an advisory role in support of the development of ISSA’s education and advocacy strategy related to ending period poverty.

Advancing period education and equality in the cleaning and facility solutions industry

This council’s focus includes but is not limited to identifying education opportunities; development and promulgation of policy positions related to period poverty; execution and/or support of advocacy activities related to the campaign; and help communicating our messages to employees, vendors, customers, and policymakers on such issues.

Members collaborate to identify opportunities for education and engagement, support and execute advocacy campaigns, and help communicate ISSA’s message to employees, vendors, customers, and policymakers. Together, the Council champions equitable access to menstrual hygiene products and fosters dialogue that inspires meaningful, lasting change.

Giving a voice to the voiceless

The ISSA Period Poverty Advisory Council serves as a strategic partner in advancing ISSA’s education and advocacy efforts to help end period poverty. The Council provides guidance on developing impactful educational initiatives, shaping policy positions, and driving awareness across the cleaning and facility solutions industry.
