ABM Increases 1st-Quarter Profit

ABM reported a fiscal first-quarter operating profit of US$109.7 million, a 139.5% jump from the previous year’s tally of $45.8 million.
The company reported an adjusted quarterly income from continuing operations of $68.3 million, or $1.01 per diluted share, up 160% from $26.2 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, last year. ABM credited the increase to a rising demand for its disinfecting and virus protection offerings and the success of its EnhancedClean™ services.
