ABM Names ADT CEO to Board

ABM has appointed James “Jim” DeVries to its board of directors.

DeVries is the current president and CEO of ADT Inc. He has been with the security and communications system provider since 2016, when he joined as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Prior to joining ADT, DeVries spent more than a decade in various leadership roles with Allstate Insurance Co., including executive vice president of operations.

“Jim’s broad knowledge and experience in service industries and expertise in human resources and operations will add tremendous value to our board of directors,” said Scott Salmirs, ABM president and CEO. “I look forward to his counsel and to working closely with him as we continue to position ABM for sustainable growth and excellence.”
