ABM Reports Increase in 2nd-Quarter Revenues

ABM reported a fiscal second-quarter revenue of US$2 billion, a 4.5% year-over-year increase in sales.
The company reported a quarterly net income of $51.9 million, or $0.78 per share, up 6.5% compared to $48.8 million, or $0.72 per share, last year. ABM credited the revenue gains to a 22% rise in revenue in its aviation segment and a 15% increase in its technical solutions division.
“Our team’s focus on delivering exceptional service, controlling costs, and passing through price increases was key to generating our second quarter results. Our revenue growth was driven by the RavenVolt acquisition and also derived from our diversified end-markets, including favorable market dynamics in aviation, education, and manufacturing and distribution.” said Scott Salmirs, ABM CEO and president.
