Aramark Appoints COO of Uniform Services Spin-Off

Aramark has appointed Chris Synek chief operating officer (COO) of Aramark Uniform Services (AUS), effective September 11.

Synek joins Aramark from Neovia Logistics, where he served as CEO. He’s also worked in leadership positions for XPO Logistics, Cintas Corp., and Allied Waste. In his newly created position, Synek will lead sales, marketing, supply chain operations, logistics, and plant operations for AUS.

Aramark announced the formation of AUS last year. The new independently traded company will operate as a spin-off of the company’s uniform services division.
