Aramark Employees Volunteer for Annual Day of Service

Thousands of Aramark employees have volunteered to participate in the company’s annual day of service, Aramark Building Community Day (ABC Day), which takes place September 22.

ABC Day will include nearly 150 community service projects in 14 countries worldwide. Planned projects include playground improvements, nutritional education, and tree planting. Since its inception in 2008, the initiative has invested millions of dollars in underserved communities with more than 70,000 employees volunteering for service projects in areas where they live and work.

“ABC Day is the culmination of our yearlong volunteer efforts, and we are thrilled to have our volunteers gathering in person this year, to give back to local communities,” said Jami Leveen, Aramark vice president of community partnerships. “I’d like to thank all our volunteers who remain committed to enabling a healthy and equitable society and who bring our mission of doing great things for our people, our partners, our communities, and our planet, to life.”
