Aramark Reports 1st-Quarter Revenue Jumps 44%

Aramark has reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of US$3.9 billion, an increase of 44% year-over-year.
For the quarter, Aramark reported an operating income of $140 million, an increase of $161 million compared to the prior year. Aramark’s largest segment, North America food and support services, reported sales of $2.42 billion, a 68% improvement over the same time last year while the uniform and career apparel division saw an 8% rise in revenue to $650 million.
