ARCSI Hosts Monthly Coffee & Conversation

Sitting down to have a cup of coffee and chat with your friends is something you do every day. How would you like to do that regularly with your residential cleaning company peers from across the country and around the world? Now you can!
The Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI), a Division of ISSA, is now hosting a monthly Zoom meeting to do just that—enjoy a cup of coffee and a conversation. Hosted by Gosia Baran and RJ Patel, the monthly Coffee & Conversation brings together ISSA’s residential cleaning community to talk about crucial issues facing the industry, as well as day-to-day operational and personnel concerns.
Each month, a special guest is invited to start a discussion around a topic important to the industry. In January, Liz Trotter, owner of Cleaning Profit Builders, joined the meeting to talk about goal setting for 2023 and shared a few pieces of advice.
When goal setting or facing an obstacle, Trotter suggested attendees to focus on four things:
- Are you on track for your goal this week?
- If not, do you need help?
- From whom?
- What is your bottleneck?
Trotter also encouraged attendees to have an accountability partner to help keep you on track to reach your goals. “Accountability partners are helpful because they help us hold OURSELVES accountable. When that meeting is coming up, we WANT to bring our best selves,” she said.
