Cintas Increases 1st-Quarter Revenue

Cintas Corp. has reported a fiscal first-quarter revenue of US$1.7 billion, a 5.4 percent year-over-year increase.

Cintas posted a quarterly operating income of $265.2 million, up 6.5 percent from last year’s first quarter operating income of $249.1 million. Sales in Cintas’ uniform rental and facility services division, the company’s largest top-line contributor, went up 4.9 percent, while sales in the company’s first-aid and safety services segment increased 9 percent.
