City Wide Donates to Florida Nonprofit
March 30, 2023City Wide Facility Solutions recently donated US$621,000 for Learning Independence for Tomorrow (LiFT).
As part of its ongoing commitment to the nonprofit, City Wide Facility Solutions of Tampa Bay collaborated with nearly 95 City Wide locations at the franchise’s annual convention to raise funds for LiFT. The Tampa, Florida-based charity provides life skills and career training to individuals with learning differences and neurodiversity.
“Many of the educational and support systems that someone with neurodiversity requires aren’t readily available. Unfortunately, this means people with neurodiversity are isolated and not given the resources to survive,” said Steve Howerton, owner of City Wide Facility Solutions of Tampa Bay . “LiFT provides these life-saving resources that allow these individuals to learn and succeed. I’m humbled by the support from the City Wide system to come together and help spread a massive ripple.”
