Colgate-Palmolive Adds Former General Mills VP to Board

Colgate-Palmolive Co. has added Kimberly A. Nelson to the company’s board of directors.

Nelson spent nearly 30 years with General Mills Inc. in a variety of executive leadership roles. She was named senior vice president of external relations in 2010, a position she held until retiring from the company in 2018.

Colgate-Palmolive also announced Dr. Helene D. Gayle will retire from the company’s board at the end of her current term. Gayle has spent more than 10 years on the Colgate-Palmolive board and her departure is effective May 7.
