Colgate-Palmolive Reports Rise in 4th Quarter Sales

Colgate-Palmolive Co. has reported fourth-quarter net sales of US$4.4 billion, an increase of 2% year-over-year.
Colgate-Palmolive reported fourth-quarter operating profit of $365 million, or $0.18 per share. In North America, Colgate-Palmolive’s net sales rose 1% while its European segment saw sales decline 6%. The company’s Latin America segment posted an 3.5% increase in net sales while its Asia Pacific division reported a 0.5% rise.
