Deadline to Cast Your Vote for Custodian of the Year Approaching

The deadline for the public to cast its vote for Cintas Corp.’s 2023 Custodian of the Year contest is April 14.

The 10th-annual contest called for elementary, middle, high-school, and college students, in addition to staff, to submit a short essay describing why their school’s custodian deserves the award. Cintas announced the 10 finalists last month, at which time online voting for the winning custodian commenced on the company’s website.

The winning custodian will receive US$10,000 and an additional $5,000 in Rubbermaid Commercial Products and Cintas products for his/her school. The winner’s school will also receive a facility assessment and consulting package from ISSA valued at $30,000 and enrollment in the GBAC Fundamentals Online Course, provided by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC), a Division of ISSA.

The nine runners-up will each receive $1,000 and free tuition to one ISSA Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) training event, valued at up to $1,500. In addition, the top three finalists will receive an all-expense-paid trip for two to the ISSA Show North America in Las Vegas in November where they’ll be recognized for their accomplishments.
