Ecolab Boosts 2nd-Quarter Sales 13%

Ecolab Inc. has reported second-quarter net sales of US$3.26 billion, a rise of 13% from $3.162 billion one year earlier.
Ecolab’s second-quarter profit dipped slightly from $310 million, or $1.08 per share, one year ago to $308 million, or $1.08 per share. Sales in the company’s global institutional and specialty division jumped 18% to $1.1 billion while its global industrial division increased sales 13% to $1.7 billion. Ecolab’s global health care and life sciences division saw sales soar 37% from $292 million to $400 million in the second quarter of 2022.
