Ecolab Increases 4th-Quarter Sales 10%

Ecolab Inc. has reported fourth-quarter net sales of US$3.36 billion, an increase of 10% from $3.06 billion one year earlier.
Ecolab’s fourth-quarter profit increased slightly from $300.3 million, or $1.04 per share, one year ago to $301 million, or $1.04 per share. Sales in the company’s global institutional and specialty division jumped 19% to $1.06 billion while its global industrial division increased sales 8% to $1.69 billion.
