Hill & Markes Donates Supplies to Local Schools

Hill & Markes Inc. recently hosted a backpack giveback fundraiser to benefit local schoolchildren.
Hill & Markes employees collaborated with vendors such as Essendant, GOJO Industries, Essity , and the Clorox Co., parent company of CloroxPro™, to fill more than 1,000 backpacks with over US$15,000 in school supplies. The backpacks were distributed to students in more than 15 school districts in the Albany, New York, area.
“We are excited to be able to provide the children in our community with school supplies for the 2021-2022 school year! Our goal is to eliminate obstacles for students and their families so children can focus on learning and being kids,” said Jillian DeGiulio, Hill & Markes human resources manager.
