Industry Loses Former Deb Canada Managing Director
October 25, 2021William “Bill” Marks, former managing director of Deb Canada, passed away October 18, 2021. He was 74 years old.
Marks was born December 27, 1946, in Brampton, Ontario. He began a career in sales after graduating from Ryerson University, working for such organizations as Colgate-Palmolive Co. and BP plc. In the early 1980s, Marks joined Deb Canada, now a segment of SC Johnson Professional, as a sales rep. He soon rose through the ranks to be named managing director in 1988. He served in that position until his retirement in 2003.
