ISS Divests British Restoration Division

ISS has entered into an agreement to sell its ISS Damage Control Ltd. business unit to Polygon Group.
The division provides restoration services to the United Kingdom. Per the terms of the sale, Steve Mitchell, ISS Damage Control managing director, will continue in his leadership role and the business unit’s 95 employees will join Polygon. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The sale is part of ISS’s overall corporate divestment strategy to focus on core activities.
“This is a strategic divestment for ISS, which allows stronger focus on our core B2B clients, supporting our OneISS strategy and our core purpose of connecting people and places,” said Simon Titchener, chief commercial officer for ISS U.K. and Ireland.
