ISSA Members Among USA Today’s Climate Leaders

Nine ISSA member companies have been listed among USA Today’s 2023 America’s Climate Leaders.

The newspaper’s inaugural index was developed in conjunction with market research firm Statista. The list consists of U.S.-headquartered companies that achieved the greatest reductions in their core emissions intensities—the measurement of Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions as a factor of revenue—between 2019 and 2021. More than 2,400 organizations were evaluated, with the final list consisting of 400 companies.

The ISSA-affiliated organizations that have been included in USA Today’s list for 2023 include:

• Tennant Co.
• W.W. Grainger Inc.
