Kaivac Acquires Eger Products

Kaivac Inc. has purchased Ohio-based plastics manufacturer Eger Products for an undisclosed sum.

Family-owned Eger Products has been a long-time vendor of Kaivac, providing plastic body parts for the company’s cleaning systems. The deal includes Eger Products’ manufacturing facility, allowing Kaivac to shift part of its supply chain in-house. Per the terms of the transaction, Eger Products will now operate as Expert Roto Molding, a division of Kaivac.

“We have learned so much from Eger over the years,” said Bob Robinson, Sr., Kaivac CEO. “We’re going to be lending our management expertise to them. They, in turn, will be teaching us the technologies in plastic molding. The unification of our companies will enhance each other.”
