Kimberly-Clark Increases 4th-Quarter Revenue 3%

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, reported fourth-quarter revenue of US$5 billion, an increase of 3% from one year ago.

Kimberly-Clark also reported a quarterly net income of $521 million, or $1.06 per share, down from $749 million, or $1.58 per share, for the same period last year. The company attributed the decline to charges related to its 2018 restructuring plan. Net sales in the company’s Kimberly-Clark Professional segment increased 2% from the previous year to $800 million while the personal care division boosted sales 12% to $2.6 billion.
