Medline Opens New Facility in New York

Medline Industries Inc. has opened a US$120 million distribution center in Montgomery, New York.

The new 1.3 million-square-foot facility will handle the distribution of thousands of individual products and devices to health care providers. Medline anticipates $1 billion in annual orders will be handled from the Montgomery facility. The property—certified by U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system—is partially powered by a 7.4 megawatt solar panel installation. Since 2016, Medline has globally invested more than $34 million in renewable energy.
