Medline Recognized for Community Contributions

Medline Industries Inc. has received the 2022 Madison County Chamber of Commerce Industrial Award.

The chamber of commerce’s annual award recognizes companies for positively impacting the central Ohio county through job growth and investment. Two years ago, Medline built and opened a new medical products distribution center in West Jefferson, Ohio. Since the facility became operational, Medline has hired more than 475 employees. The company also donated 5,000 face masks to residents of West Jefferson and more than 500 cases of hand sanitizer to the West Jefferson Senior Citizens Center.

“Medline has made a commitment to be a positive force in the community beyond its immediate mission to support healthcare and grow the economy,” said Jim Eveland, Medline senior director of operations. In addition to supporting events and organizations, “we have made every effort to hire locally and utilize local vendors for building upkeep and maintenance.”
