Newell Brands Adds Former Marriott CFO to Board

Newell Brands, parent company of Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP), has announced the election of Anthony “Tony” Terry to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2024.

Terry has extensive experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and operations. He spent more than 25 years at Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp. in a variety of leadership roles in accounting, finance, inventory optimization, and strategic planning. Terry was named the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) in 2021, a position he held until retiring earlier this year. Prior to joining Marriott, he worked as a senior auditor at The Walt Disney Co. and an audit senior at Arthur Andersen LLP. In addition to his role as independent director, Terry will also serve as a member of Newell’s audit committee.
