December 8, 2022 OSHA Recognizes Cintas Employees for Workplace Safety Efforts

Three Cintas Corp. employees were recently recognized by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Association’s (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) for their efforts to promote workplace safety and health.

Myron Harper, Cintas safety and health senior manager, and Meghan Moberly, Cintas first aid and safety regional service manager, have been awarded the Voluntary Protection Program Participants Association (VPPPA)’s Special Government Employees (SGE) of the Year honors for their respective VPP Regions. OSHA’s annual award recognizes VPP SGEs for their efforts to support the program in their respective regions. Harper is based out of Indianapolis and was the Region V honoree, while Kansas City, Missouri-based Moberly was the Region VII winner.

In addition, Bobby Hunzicker, general manager at Cintas’ first aid & safety branch in Kansas City, was recently recognized with VPPPA’s Star Among Stars Award for Region VII for posting post total case incidence rates well below the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ (BLS) national averages.
