P&G Reports 3% Increase in 2nd-Quarter Sales

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO), has reported fiscal second-quarter net sales of US$21.4 billion, an increase of 3% from a year earlier.

The company reported an operating income of $4.43 billion, a 7% dip from $4.78 billion a year ago. Net sales for P&G’s healthcare division rose 4%, while sales in its grooming segment improved 6% from last year. The company’s fabric and home care division raised sales 5%, while its baby, feminine, and family care segment saw a 2% sales increase.
