P&G Sees Sales Rise 7% in Fourth Quarter

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional  (P&G PRO), has reported fiscal-fourth quarter net sales of US$18.9 billion, an increase of 7% from a year earlier.

The company reported an operating income of $3.54 billion, up 2% from $3.48 billion a year earlier. Net sales for P&G’s health care divisions climbed 18%, while sales in its beauty segment increased 11%. The company’s fabric and home care division raised sales 5% and its grooming segment reported a 10% bump in net sales.
