P&G Supports COVID-19 Relief in Singapore

July 12, 2021

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO), recently donated 300,000 care packs to the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) in Singapore.

P&G’s donation, valued at more than US$2.2 million, includes personal health and hygiene items as well as cleaning products. MWC will distribute the care packs to the city’s migrant worker population. The contribution is part of P&G’s on-going series of international COVID-19 relief efforts. Last year the company provided MWC with 300,000 similar care packs.

“It is critical that we intensify our efforts to uplift the most vulnerable in our community, as we remain committed to being a force for good during this protracted period of uncertainty. These care packs will help the migrant workers aid in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health and safety of our migrant workers,” said Shankar Viswanathan, P&G Vice President for Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
