Pretium Joins Plastics Pact

January 5, 2021

Pretium Packaging has joined the U.S. Plastics Pact.

Organized by The Recycling Partnership, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and the World Wildlife Fund, the U.S. Plastics Pact is a collaborative network for stakeholders across the supply chain to work together on the design, use, and reuse of plastics to create a path forward to a circular economy for plastics by 2025.

“We are delighted to join the U.S. Plastics Pact as their stated goals perfectly align with Pretium’s strategy to fight the global problems of plastic waste through the elimination of both single-use packaging and nonrecyclable plastic materials from our portfolio,” said Paul Kayser, Pretium CEO. “Pretium has always been a leader in the use of post-consumer recycled materials across all of our product lines. Looking forward we are increasing our investment in our product offerings to drive more options for our customers and greater adoption of this resource.”
